On November 4, 2026, Pine Labs and Stripe introduced a unified commerce solution that lets eligible retailers in Singapore handle online payments through Stripe and in-store card, QR, and contactless transactions through Pine Labs terminals on one platform.

Key Capabilities of the Integrated Payments Platform

The solution provides merchants with a single view of transactions across channels. This setup reduces the need for separate reconciliation processes and lowers operational overhead. Retailers gain access to multi-issuer installment plans, pay-by-points options, loyalty-linked payments, and merchant-funded promotions directly within the system.

Additional tools from Pine Labs allow merchants to run digital marketing campaigns that include targeted discounts and cross-border promotions. Real-time visibility into sales data across online and physical stores supports faster decision making for inventory and pricing adjustments.

Merchants no longer need multiple providers to manage different parts of their payment stack. The platform combines Stripe’s online processing with Pine Labs terminals to create one operational workflow that covers acquiring, financing, and analytics.

Background on Fragmented Payment Systems and Recent Platform Work

Many retailers in Singapore previously used separate providers for online payments, in-store terminals, financing programs, and reporting tools. A 2026 BCG Global Payments Report noted that 39 percent of large merchants maintain different acquirers for online versus in-store activity. This fragmentation increases reconciliation work and limits the ability to deliver consistent customer offers across channels.

Pine Labs had already introduced its standalone unified merchant platform in Singapore on October 6, 2026. That earlier release included acquiring services, installment options, and integration with the Fave app. Existing Pine Labs clients in the market include Courts, iStudio, CapitaLand, and FairPrice. The new partnership with Stripe extends those capabilities by adding Stripe’s online infrastructure.

Pine Labs CEO B Amrish Rau stated that retailers expect a connected view across sales channels. The combination of Stripe’s online tools with Pine Labs in-store ecosystem aims to reduce operational complexity while enabling more personalized customer experiences. Country Head Prasanna Varadharajan has previously noted that merchants seek simplified infrastructure and greater flexibility for consumers.

Next Steps at Singapore Fintech Festival and Regional Expansion

The companies plan to showcase the solution at the Singapore Fintech Festival 2026, scheduled for November 18–20 at the Singapore EXPO. The event will give merchants and industry participants an opportunity to review the integrated workflow in person.

Further rollout across other Southeast Asian markets is scheduled for 2027. The partnership focuses on markets where retailers already operate both physical stores and digital channels and face similar fragmentation challenges.

this is big for stores here, being able to take payments online and in person without switching systems should cut down on a lot of headaches.
