OKX announced the upcoming OKX Card virtual Mastercard for US users around October 21–23, 2026. The card allows spending of stablecoins held in OKX Pay balances at any Mastercard-accepting merchant through Apple Pay, Google Pay or online transactions.

The announcement appeared on the company’s official US site at okx.com/en-us/card along with posts on its X account. A waitlist is now open for early access, though OKX has not set a firm launch date or specified availability by state.

OKX Card US Launch Features and Cashback Tiers

The virtual card is issued by WebBank and integrates directly with OKX Pay. Users can spend primarily USDG with automatic repayment, while USDC and USDT appear in some descriptions though cashback rewards remain limited to USDG. No OKX transaction fees or foreign-exchange fees apply, though a 0.1 percent spread may occur during any required conversion. Balances left in OKX Pay continue to earn yield between purchases.

Cashback is paid monthly in USDG and resets on the first of each month. The Classic tier offers 2 percent back with a $50 monthly cap. Plus tier users receive 4 percent up to $400. Premium reaches 4.5 percent capped at $900. Signature delivers 5 percent up to $1,500. The Infinite tier provides 10 percent back capped at $1,500. Tier assignment depends on the highest of a 30-day average OKX Pay balance, card spend volume or VIP level.

Only spend that qualifies under auto-repayment rules counts toward rewards. Monthly caps are calculated on eligible USDG transactions only.

Context From Prior OKX Card Rollouts and Partnership

OKX previously launched Mastercard versions in the EEA on January 28, 2026, supporting USDC and USDG, and introduced Visa cards in Brazil and Singapore. The current US program extends the same Mastercard stablecoin-spending partnership first announced in 2025. The US card focuses on everyday purchases funded directly from crypto balances while adding tiered rewards and continued yield on idle funds.

The product remains virtual only at launch. Users must maintain an OKX account and join the waitlist through the dedicated US card page. Full terms, state-level availability and any additional eligibility requirements have not yet been published.

Next Steps and User Requirements

Interested users can sign up for the waitlist on the official page, which requires an existing OKX account. OKX has stated that exact launch timing, supported states and complete terms will be released closer to rollout. Standard crypto-asset risks apply, and users should review the full eligibility details posted on the OKX site before joining.
